I was not impressed with the taste, and in addition, there is way too much pepper for my liking.
The product is good, but the texture and taste feel more like smoked TOFU and it is pretty hard after cooking.
It was worth every penny.I made a bakon avocado tomato lettuce as soon as I received my order.totally delicious.today there will be a cobb salad. Plant based of coarse.
I have been ordering from this company for a couple of years. Each order continues to improve in flavor and handling. I am a loyal customer. I'm hoping the company becomes popular enough that my local grocery store will begin to carry the product.
We made our first BLT and it was great.
I was very skeptical but wanted to try the Bakon before making an assumption. Well let me tell you - it's incredible! I love how it looks so much like bacon. The taste is spot on. I've had it plain, just for snacking on. I've had a super yummy BLT. I chopped it up and fried it into a tofu scramble and it was so delicious. I am so happy I took the plunge and bought the Bakon. I'm the only plant-based eater in my house so I have 6 packs all to myself. I plan to savor every single slice until my next order.
I very much love the bakon! The process of receiving it was not a great experience. I ordered so I could share it at a family occasion and it never showed up. Then I exercised patient's and hoped for the next occasion and still no bakon. Almost a month after ordering it showed up. Not sure I'll order again.
Delicious. If you carefully separate the slices to preserve their integrity, youll be pleased with the result. BLTs again. We're so happy
Decent texture but hard to cook it correctly. A bit too much smokey flavor. Biggest complaint is the package weights varried wildly from 7 ox to 11 oz…which seems unfair since all packages were priced the same, and at $15 a package thats not an insignificant amount
